Tallassee Tribune: Roby visits GKN
U.S. Rep. Martha Roby (R-AL) spoke to GKN Aerospace employees on Wednesday, May 2, about a very important upcoming project. Afterwards she checked out the Lockheed Martin’s F-35 simulator.
“These hardworking men and women perform vital work on the UH-60 at Sikorsky, and now on the F-35 that will soon be flown by the 187th Fighter Wing at Dannelly Field in Montgomery,” said Roby. “Because of their important work to support these critical missions, our lunch event featured an F-35 cockpit simulator. I was absolutely thrilled to ‘fly’ it myself and to join the GKN employees in seeing firsthand what they work so hard towards.”
