Roby Congratulates University of Alabama Students Upon Completion of Summer Internship Program
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Martha Roby (R-Ala.) today congratulated Caroline Franklin, Ben Silverman, and Greg Silverman, all students at the University of Alabama, for completing internships this summer in her Washington, D.C. office.
During their time in Roby’s office, the students conducted tours of the U.S. Capitol building, drafted and presented policy proposals, assisted constituents with their requests, attended committee hearings, and more.
“I really appreciate these students’ hard work for the people of Alabama’s Second Congressional District,” Roby said. “Their willingness to serve and be a part of the legislative process is commendable. I am confident they will be successful in their future endeavors.”
Caroline Franklin, a native of Montgomery, Alabama, is a senior public relations major.
Ben Silverman, a native of Hendersonville, Tennessee, is a sophomore physics and psychology double major.
Greg Silverman, a native of Hendersonville, Tennessee, is a senior political science and psychology double major.
