Jake Jacobs Serves as Congressional Intern for Rep. Roby

U.S. Representative Martha Roby announced today that Jake Jacobs, from Montgomery, AL, is currently serving as a Congressional intern in her Washington D.C., office. 

In the office, Jacobs is helping with legislative and administrative duties on behalf of the people of Alabama. Jacobs is currently a student at Auburn University where he is majoring in Political Science and minoring in French.  Jacobs is a member of Kappa Alpha Order fraternity, where he served as pledge class president.  Jacobs will also be completing an internship with the National Guard Association of the United States.

While serving, Congressional interns observe and take part in the workings of the United States Congress. Experience gained from these internships help students develop knowledge of the government and various policy issues, as well as professional skills that will be valuable in future pursuits.

Jacobs is a 2010 graduate of The Montgomery Academy. His parents are Teresa Jacobs and Col. Paul Jacobs from Montgomery.
