Alabama lawmakers met with top Air Force officials on Capitol Hill today to discuss the fate of C-130 cargo planes based in Montgomery.
The Alabama congressional delegation met with Air Force officials over the planned retirement of C-130 aircraft. The aircraft are flown by the 908th Airlift Wing at Maxwell Air Force Base. The changes would leave the 908th without any planes - putting hundreds of jobs at risk.
