Roby Names Emily Taylor-Johnson Communications Director
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Martha Roby (R-AL) today announced that Emily Taylor-Johnson has been promoted to Communications Director in her Washington, D.C. office.
“I’ve made it a priority to surround myself with a first-class team focused on serving the needs of my constituents and advancing the values of Alabama’s Second Congressional District,” Representative Roby said. “Emily has played an integral role in our work to achieve these goals since she joined my staff, and I am excited to see her take on this new position in my office.”
Taylor-Johnson, a Prattville native, previously served as Press Secretary in Representative Roby’s office. Prior to joining Roby’s staff, she served as Deputy Press Secretary, Press Assistant, and Staff Assistant for U.S. Senator Richard Shelby (R-AL). Taylor-Johnson graduated from the College of Charleston with degrees in Political Science and Communications.
