Roby Congratulates AL-02 Students upon Completion of Capitol Hill Internship
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Martha Roby (R-AL) today congratulated Meredith Moore, Hayden Pruett, and Brandon Redman, three students from Alabama’s Second Congressional District, for completing summer internships in her Washington, D.C., office.
During their time in Representative Roby’s office, Meredith, Hayden, and Brandon conducted tours of the United States Capitol building, drafted and presented a policy proposal, assisted constituents with their various needs and requests, attended committee hearings, and more.
“Throughout their time in my office this summer, these impressive students worked very hard on behalf of the people of Alabama’s Second District, and I sincerely appreciate their efforts,” Representative Roby said. “I am proud of their eagerness to serve their home district and learn more about the legislative process. I am confident that they will be successful in their future endeavors.”
Meredith Moore is a graduate of Trinity Presbyterian School. She is a rising junior at the University of Alabama where she studies Marketing and English.
Hayden Pruett is a graduate of the Loveless Academic Magnet Program (LAMP). She is a rising sophomore at the University of Alabama where she studies Political Science and Social Welfare.
Brandon Redman is a graduate of Prattville Christian Academy. He is a rising senior at Faulkner University where he studies Political Science.
