Montgomery Native Bo Torbert Completes Roby’s Congressional Internship Program
U.S. Representative Martha Roby (R-AL) today congratulated Montgomery native Bo Torbert for completing an internship this summer in her Washington, D.C., office.
During his time in Representative Roby’s office, Bo conducted tours of the United States Capitol building, drafted and presented a policy proposal, attended committee hearings, assisted constituents with their various requests, and more.
“Bo worked diligently for the people of Alabama’s Second District during his time in my office, and I greatly appreciate his efforts,” Representative Roby said. “Bo’s willingness to serve his home district and learn more about our nation’s legislative process is highly commendable. I am confident he will be successful in his future endeavors.”
Bo Torbert is the son of Clay and Cindy Torbert. He is a graduate of the Montgomery Academy and a rising senior at Washington and Lee University where he studies global politics.
